Emergency Care Practitioners

Steve Parry and Phil Chasemore are our emergency care practitioners. They are fully qualified specialist paramedics who we are able to use to assess patients both in the community and in surgery.  The Emergency Care Practitioner’s prinicipal role is to assist GPs with home visit requests to housebound patients with acute conditions, while referring to the patient’s own GP or the duty doctor if necessary. They can also see patients who require a same day acute appointment and will refer to a GP if necessary.
