Welcome to the French Weir Health Centre Internet Site. This is your site and gives you access to a wide range of information about the Practice as well as some of the services offered by the Practice. The Doctors, Nurses and staff are part of a professional team caring for over 15,000 patients in and around Taunton. We offer a full range of services for both acute and chronic conditions as well as counselling, physiotherapy, minor surgery, health visiting, community nursing and dietary advice.

We operate from a large premises located close to the centre of Taunton which has been extensively modernized, upgraded and refurbished in the last 10 years and take patients from a Practice area to the north west of the town centre.

We are also a training Practice and have one or 2 GP Registrars, who are fully qualified GPs, who are under training with us in the speciality of general practice work.

We have 9 GP Partners in the Practice and currently 2 GP Registrars as well as a team of 6 Nurses, 1 Health Care assistant, a supporting staff of receptionists and a full complement of attached community nurses and other specialists.
